Grand jury indicts two in Juneau

    Juneau, Alaska (KINY) Two men were indicted on assault charges in separate cases presented to a Juneau grand jury this week.

    Ryan Williams, 29, was indicted on two counts of assault in the first degree, two counts of assault in the second degree, one count of assault in the third degree and tampering with evidence.  The charging document said Juneau Police Officers responded to the report of a man choking a woman at an apartment on November 20th.  The officers found the victim in the back of a closet covered in blood.  It took 15 stitches to close a wound to the female's face.

    Patrick Dealexandro, 50, was indicted on a charge of third degree assault.  He allegedly struck a man in the head with a metal baton.  It required eight stitches to close the wound.  He was also accused of entering a residence on Mendenhall Loop Road November 29th unlawfully.   The victim was treated at Bartlett Regional Hospital.
