Graham Murder case continues

Juneau, AK (KINY) - Accused of murder, Laron Graham is having a hard time getting a lawyer.

The State Office of Conflict Counsel says that they couldn't find an attorney for him in Juneau. They are having to search the state to find one.

Another hearing has been set for March 12th.

Graham made three comments in court. He challenged the indictment and said it is based on hearsay and confidential jail house informants that fabricated evidence. He also asked for a change of venue and also wants to be Co-Counsel in his own defense.

Graham is charged with killing two people on Douglas Island,  Robert Meireis, 36 and Elizabeth Tonsmiere, 34 in November 2015.
