Juneau, Alaska (KINY) - A proposal for the distribution of the one percent temporary sales tax funding approved by voters in October is on the agenda of the Assembly Public Works and Facilities Committee Monday.
City Manager Rorie Watt talked about that on Action Line Friday. "We know how its going to be distributed. We just don't know in which year to which project. There's five years of sales tax and we have to appropriate it every July and so we have to figure out which projects are going to be ready and which ones we want to do first."
A list of small school district projects proposed for funding in Fiscal Year 18 will be presented to the panel.
Members will also be updated on the sea walk planning
The committee is scheduled to convene at Noon Monday in Assembly Chambers at City Hall.
