Nulato, Alaska (KINY) -Alaska State Troopers praised a health aid for helping save a man's life.
A dispatch from Troopers said they received a report of a stabbing but was not able to respond right away due to weather conditions.
Troopers said once they arrived the investigation found Robin George, 32, stabbed a man in the back during a disagreement.
Troopers went on to state that a health aid was able to stabilize the patient's condition until he could be medivaced to Fairbanks for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
George has been charged with attempted murder in the first degree and assault in the first degree. She was taken to Fairbanks Correctional Center to await a court appearance.
