5 indicted for shooting

    Sitka, Alaska (KINY) A grand jury returned indictments on charges of burglary and assault for a shooting March 18.

    Christina Quintana, 32 allegedly shot Jamie Kane twice in the legs in a drug related incident.  She faces charges of first degree robbery, first degree assault and first degree burglary.

    Andrea Avalos, 22 and Holly Chambers 25, were indicted on first degree robbery, assault and burglary charges.

    Peter Krovino, 39 was charged with assault in the first and third degree and burglary in the third degree.
    Porter Treadway, 36 was indicted on two counts of robbery in the first degree, burglary first degree and assault first degree charges.

    Sitka Police, Alaska State Troopers, the FBI, and the US Coast Guard were all involved in the investigation.  Several of the suspects were located on board a boat in the harbor. 

    Quintana, also wanted in California and New Mexico, is in jail in lieu of $1 million bond.
