1995 Cold Case Anchorage Murder sees Two Arrests in Juneau

    Juneau, AK (KINY) - Two Juneau men were arrested yesterday evening (Wednesday) on outstanding warrants for the 1995 murder of Jerry Dillivan in Anchorage.

    According to an Anchorage press release on the case, Dillivan had been beaten to death and found behind a Texaco station. The case had went cold until a Crime Stoppers tip and a subsequent DNA match helped solve the case.

    Browne Larry Willard the 3rd was arrested in a residence located in the 1000 block of Capital Avenue, while Duwaine Edward Price was arrested on the outstanding warrant during a traffic stop that took place on the Glacier Highway near Channel Vista.

    Both Willard the 3rd and Price were transported to the Lemon Creek Correctional Center and lodged on their warrants. Bail for both Willard 3rd and Price was set at $500,000. Price and Willard are facing a potential sentence of up to 99 years in prison for murder in the second degree.
