BIO: Jim was born and almost totally raised in Texas, although he has lived in Arizona, Maine, Missouri and Saudi Arabia. Jim says Alaska is his final destination, having dreamed of living here since he was 14. Jim's wife, Dee, and daughter, Wendy, are very supportive and both love it in Juneau. The family loves to hike and explore, and avoid angry bears. Jim feels honored to work at KINY. His goal is to lift spirits and maybe cause a chuckle or two.
