Catherine is on the air from 2:00am to 9:00am  on Saturday and 2:00am to 8:00am on Sunday. She generally regales her listeners with the trials and tribulations of her complicated yet mundane everyday life, wrestling with the variable speed control on her windshield wipers and trying to persuade her cats to use their new cat door. 

Catherine is originally from Pittsburgh and went to college in New Orleans. She moved to Juneau in 1982 and started at KINY/KSUP in 1985. Since then, she moved away and came back, then moved away again. In the course of her peregrinations around the planet she has lived in France, Honduras, Colombia, Argentina, Turkey, and Tajikistan. She finally decided that her heart was in Juneau and came back in 2004.  She says her gypsy days are over and that she’s back for good this time!!
